Microsoft Excel - Want to add 2 weeks to date in cell C19. Can't get syntax right - help!

I want to calculate a series of dates based on a date I input in cell C19. I cannot get the syntax right with the DATEADD function. Can anyone help? Excel 2013.

Hello Colette,
DateAdd is a VBA function. If you are just doing is by formula, the date variable is stored as days (plus a fraction if it includes time as well) so to add two weeks to a date just use =$C$19 + 14.

I f you want to use VBA then it would be handy to have the snippet of code that you are trying to work with so that we can suggest what is wrong.

Thank you - I tried the =$c$19+14 and it worked! I was on the wrong track with VBA. Appreciate your help, thank you.
