JavaScript - using window.print() without page footer

Asked By Agustina Sadikin on 24-Nov-03 10:44 AM
Hi...
Is there anyway to print to the user printer using window.print() without printing the url address.
When I use window.print, in the bottom of the page is printed http://www.something2x together with the page number ( eg. Page 1 of 2).
Is there any way to remove this?
Any help is most welcomeddd..
Thank you in advanced.

That's controlled by the user in their Browser

in the Print Preview "page setup" icon.
You do have events such as onBeforePrint and onAfterPrint where you can alter the contents of the page programmatically, but I doubt you can control the settings such as headers/footers that only the Browser owner has control over.
