This explains how to find maximum value of the expression in oracle using mathematical function, MAX.
There is a Mathematical function in oracle by the name, MAX which is used to find the maximum value of the expression.
Syntax: MAX(expression)
Here expression could be any column of the table or any other
expression from the resultset.
Ex1: SELECT MAX (sal) FROM emp;
This highest amount for sal column having in the emp table.
