Iam Getting the following error when iam calling the webmethod in my windows app.
"The HTTP request is unauthorized with client authentication scheme 'Anonymous'. The authentication header received from the server was 'Basic realm=\"AXIS\"'."

Your webservice is configured for BASIC authentication. Greg Reinacker has a pretty good article on how to do this:
